Taranja Pinnacle Cup (AI Fighting Tournament)

A 400-person tournament involving AI-only fighters conducted using a game called MUGEN, a game that allows users to create a dream fighting roster of many characters from various franchises and pit each of them against each other. There are no human players involved; every match is decided by computer players controlling both familiar and obscure characters. The Pinnacle Cup is designed to offer another way to watch competitive events given that in-person, real life esports tournaments have been canceled due to the pandemic, and online matches do not offer the same quality experience spectators would expect.
